Our organization and customers are growing. That’s why we’re looking for a data engineering consultant (36-40 hours) who knows how to deal with millions of (customer) data records and use them to gain the best insights for our customers. You’re at the core of the unique customer view and transform data into actionable information. At least one day a week you’ll join us at our office in Nieuwegein to catch up with your colleagues.

What you’re going to do
You’re at the core of the unique customer view that we create for customers through our data platforms. You’ll gather all data from the source systems, transform these data into actionable information and place it in a central marketing dashboard. You can link data sources with shared keys or via our own matching technique. Whether you retrieve data from flat files, a database link or REST API call: you know what needs to be done and gather information from your colleagues. And lastly: you’ll also work at developing flows within the platforms.

You are
Someone who’s interested in data, consultancy, data engineering and/or data science. Lots of new colleagues start with a broad scope, but aim to specialize themselves in (a) specific topic(s) and interest(s) further down the line. There’s plenty of room for this.

You have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and are ready for your first or second challenge. You have an excellent command of the Dutch language and possess a fine use of English. You also have strong communication skills, are eager to learn and an enterprising character. You gain energy from finding creative solutions that drive customers forward.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent Dutch in speech and writing, a good command of the English language.
  • Affinity with data, and strong analytical skills.
  • Eager to learn, enterprising and creative.
  • It’s an advantage if you:
    • have work experience with data integration, databases, ETL, REST APIs, SQL and CRM. And you know your way around web analytics, tag management and digital advertising platforms.
    • have experience with the front-end side.
