Once Invicta, now Invenna: our history in a nutshell.

From consultancy to data platform technology

10 years ago, a group of ambitious consultants started creating and implementing (database) marketing strategies and tactics under the name Invicta. In no time, we noticed that many organizations were struggling with merging and accessing the correct customer data. And from the moment that we received weekly requests to create unique customer views for campaigns, analyses and models, we knew that there had to be another way.

One thing was clear: in order to truly help organizations, a strong and smart data foundation is needed. A software solution that enables departments such as analysis, compliance, marketing and IT to work swiftly. A platform that allows organizations to work with their own customer data – always, simply and quickly. And that’s how the Invenna Customer Data Platform was born.

With the help of customers like Robeco and Telegraaf, we built a data platform of which the term – CDP – didn’t even exist at the time. In the years that followed, we didn’t slow down: we helped dozens of organizations with millions of customer data records, became part of The Data Agency and continued as Invenna, and we developed an all-new (KYC) platform together with Rabobank and Robeco. In the meantime, this platform has been positively evaluated by one of the Netherlands’ leading auditors. The crowning glory of our work!

Our newest adventure is the merger with software organization Human Inference. In doing so, we’re the first in the Benelux to offer a Customer Data Platform with Master Data Management (MDM) technology.
