Business developer

You're responsible for the entire sales process – from identifying new leads to closing the deal.

Help organizations grow with smart software solutions

In January 2023, we merged with the platform organization Invenna. Since then, we have experienced rapid growth, including our commercial ambitions. That's why we are seeking a business developer who will actively help expand our customer base, build strong relationships, and support organizations with software solutions that deliver real value. You will work closely with colleagues from our sales, marketing, and product development teams based in Arnhem and Nieuwegein.

What you will do

You will assist public and financial sector organizations in effectively managing their customer data by introducing them to our software solutions, whether they are new prospects or existing clients. You are commercially driven, creative in your approach, and take responsibility for achieving results.

More specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Actively generating new business and expanding the client portfolio
  • Identifying customer needs and providing guidance on the appropriate solutions
  • Building strong, long-term relationships that will later be handed over to our consulting team
  • Following up on leads creatively through email, phone, and social selling
  • Leading sales conversations and negotiations through to closing
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine our value proposition
  • Identifying market trends, developments, and new opportunities

Who you are

You are a motivated sales professional with a commercial mindset and a passion for technology. You are adept at moving between strategic thinking and taking action. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and take full ownership of the sales process. You thrive on winning new clients and providing solutions that genuinely make a difference.

Your profile:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in software or data
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • A strong affinity for technology with the ability to quickly understand technical concepts
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
  • A client-focused mindset, being both self-sufficient and a team player
  • An interest in marketing, data, compliance, and AI
  • Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with CRM systems and modern sales methodologies
